PH3 Storyboards
The power of stick people lol. Just sharing one page. This is my first time storyboarding the webtoon traditionally. PH3 is an action-heavy episode, so the pacing will be primarily dictated by visuals; this is in contrast to PH1 and 2, whose pacing was perhaps more influenced by the dialogue and flow of conversation (fun fact: the very first step in storyboarding PH1 and 2 was actually type-setting).All that said, I’ll probably carry on with this traditional method moving forward, even for lighter-action episodes. I found that it was extremely freeing to draw on paper, since it's a medium totally separate from the final result. When I'd storyboarded on the digital canvas, I'd felt this pressure to get everything right the first time, and that made this stage much more difficult to complete.Something I've learned from publishing PH1 and 2 is that my vision often changes as I realize it. A strong initial vision is a great starting point, but it's okay to give myself the space to change things over the course of the process and allow this story to "tell itself".PH3 Panels

I've pushed back my next shop drop in order to prioritize the webtoon and build up my portfolio with more engaging, personally challenging artworks. That said, we're already past the first quarter of the year!Two new items coming to the shop include soft enamel pins of the Isa chibi shown (she's so cute hahaha) and acrylic standees that I shall show when they come in… I’d like for them to be a surprise :)In addition to new products, I’ve also restocked on the Bakunawa keychains! I'm still extremely grateful for the love and support they received in last year's drop. When the pins, standees, and keychains come in, they’ll be the final product in my inventory of outsourced products. After that, I’ll have to print a new batch of stickers and prints and begin drop prep. I'll do a dedicated blog post showcasing everything in the coming months.Drop date is currently TBD, but I’ll keep y’all updated!A revamp of this website + other platforms
At the start of April, I wanted to update the art on the homepage with recent work… and now the whole website’s polished up with new and improved pages.Most of the new development has been on the “BP” side, with new pages for the characters, lore, and of course, this blog. I’d been meaning to add these pages for awhile, so it feels good to finally have them up and published.Other platforms that got a makeover are my Carrd and Ko-Fi, if you’d like to see for yourself.Looking ahead…
